Welcome to the McCormick Hall Wiki!
This wiki serves as log of all the events hosted by House Government. Some rules for the wiki:
- Please read up on WikiStyle to learn how to edit the wiki.
- The FrontPage should show entries on the most recent events. Entries should follow the format of:
- Name of Event
- Date Held
- Where the event was held
- What the event was about
- Who organized the event
- Outcome/turnout of the event
- Link to a more detailed wiki page about the event. Please make the link name from the event name and year held like thus:
- Event name: Bulb Planting
- Wiki name: BulbPlanting2005
- The side bar will contain links to different House Chair pages. Links to detailed events pages should be stored in their respective House Chair pages. For example, there should be a link to BulbPlanting2005 in the EnvironmentalChair page.
- Detailed events pages should include at least all the information present in the FrontPage and:
- People or places that helped with organizing the event
- How to publicize the event
- How much was spent
- What difficulties were encountered
- Organizer's names
- Any other information that might be helpful to later Chairs who want to sponsor the same event
- We are limited to 3 comments per page. So please only leave suggestions, feedback, and constructive criticism rather than "Good job on such and such."
- After editing a page, please leave your name.
- It is the Directors' and Chairs' duty to keep this wiki updated and to create the Chair pages that list the detailed event wikis on the side Bar. There is a sample entry below and the Environmental Chair page can also be used as an template. The webmaster will periodically remove old entries from the FrontPage and make sure that everything is in working order.
- Do not remove these rules from this page.
1. Date Held: April 8, 2006
2. Where the event was held: East Penthouse
3. What the event was about: Bonding between residents and prefrosh over karaoke and ice cream, raffle for those who came and sang

Sample Entry
Add your entry above the previous line, under the horizontal line breaker. Do not remove sample entry.
Date: November, 2005
Place: Under Magnolia trees and in courtard
Hosted by Environmental Chairs.
We planted over 1000 bulbs in front of McCormick Hall. The flowers include:
- Daffodils (Professor Einstein, Ice Follies, Fortune, Minnows)
- Crocuses
- Dwarf Rockgarden Irises
- Dutch Irises (Sapphire Beauty)
- Emperor Tulips
The planting spanned two days. In total about a dozen people came to help. Thus, people were able to plant a significant area of flowers. Next time, we should have more easy-to-use tools available.
